We are happy to announce, that we have signed a contract with Latvian Central Financing and Contracting Agency to start a project “Enclosed lung on a chip system development suitable for respiratory disease research in BSL3 and microgravity systems (LoCBox)” in collaboration with Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre.
During this 2 year project:
·      We will develop system suitable for our PDMS-free organ on a chip cultivation and research in BLS3 environment. Lung on chip model will be tested with pseudoviruses and SARS-Cov-2.
·      We will develop system for our PDMS-free organ on a chip cultivation and research in microgravity.
Budget: 500 000 Eur
Time period: 1 January 2022 – 30 November 2023
